The companies that occupy commercial office space within the building located at 7979 Beltline in Irving, Texas depend on the comfort provided by six large RTU units. The office building is only two stories but is two decades old. These roof top units that are self-contained heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems were at the end of their lifecycle. The building owner, looking to serve his tenants, reached out to us at Evolution Mechanical, a mechanical service contractor with expertise in commercial heating and cooling systems, to remedy the problem.
Our team got to work immediately, assessing the commercial HVAC services needs of the units and was able to successfully replace all the large RTU units over the course of just one weekend. This meant that we were able to complete our work without disrupting the schedules of occupants and had their building and controls in proper working order before anyone arrived the following Monday. In the end, the client was very happy, and all units are now communicating with the location’s energy management system.
