At Chase Tower, a 55-story building located at 2200 Ross Avenue in downtown, Dallas, 1.2MM square feet of commercial space was being serviced by the original 1,300-ton chillers that had reached the end of their lifecycle and needed to be replaced. Evolution Mechanical was ready to help, bringing 90 years of combined HVAC experience and industrial chiller services knowledge to the project.
Upon assessing the workspace and determining the safest and most effective way to remove the original chillers, we got to work, removing walls, and building a steel ramp and shoring the parking garage to properly install the new equipment. As we replaced each, we kept one running at a time, ensuring there would be minimal disruption to the conditions of the workspace inside. When the job was complete, two new chillers were in place, with no signs of reconstruction left behind.
